Life Update: A new job, and more!

Has it really only been 2 weeks since I updated my site? Feels way
longer! Anyway, sorry about my near radio silence here lately,
been a bit busy/preoccupied/tired, depending on the day, to
update my site. Right after I promised an update to the Kreative Korner,
too... but I'm sure nobody was holding their breath too long, right?
Anyway, here's where I've been:
I finally quit my shitty fast food job! Got accepted for the
custodial position at the elementary school, and I'll be starting next
week. It'll be a bit less hourly, but more hours, and hopefully easy
enough on my body that I can actually work those hours, as
opposed to Orange Burger Hell, where I got admonished for just taking
a second to rest while waiting for a customer to come in. By a manager who
knew I've been sick.
Sorry. I'm still pretty pissed off about that, man. But I don't have
to worry about all that anymore, because I'll actually be able to take
a fucking second to rest at the new job. And I'll even get health insurance!
And paid time off! The wonders of a (technically) government position.
But that's not all! Just today, I applied for and toured an apartment with one
of my best friends from high school. We'd talked about getting a place together before,
but he texted me out of the blue recently and told me he needed to find a place by the 12th of
next month, and asked if I was still down to room with him. It's a 2 bed 2 bath for $1300/month,
complete with a balcony and washer/dryer hookups! And they're doing a deal for 2 months free... it's
almost too good to be true. Possibly suspiciously so... But maybe that's just my paranoia talking.
If we get accepted (which I have a good feeling about), we'll be moving in on the 9th.
Lots to take care of in so little time! Utilities, internet, furniture... But we'll cross that bridge when we
get to it. One of my old coworkers from Orange Burger Hell was apparently getting a place there too a good few months
ago, I wonder if I'll run into her.
So this is a really exciting new development in my life! If the apartment works out, I'll even finally
get out of this trailer! The camping life just ain't for me, and Kit-Kat could use the extra space, too.
Feels like my life's finally getting back on the rails after the Great Crashout of 2022, finally
taking it off pause and getting to live again. Hopefully. Now all I need is to get my health bullshit in
order, too, which should be a good deal easier when I have health insurance. I can finally go back to the
specialist, and hopefully actually get a diagnosis this time, instead of just pills that don't really work.
So am I back back? Well... Might not update the site as frequently as I was when I first made it, but once I get everything in order I'll try to get on a steady pace again. In honesty, I was super hyperfixating when I first made the site, and now my hyperfixation is elsewhere. ¯\_(ᵕ—ᴗ—)_/¯ Many such cases. It's definitely not abandoned, though. Just taking a backseat as I work on other things in my life.
Aaaaand... that's it, I think! The Kreative Korner update? It's... coming. At some point. Definitely too tired to do that today, and then I start work next week... We'll see what next weekend brings. But it might not happen until I'm situated in the new place, if that comes to pass. Life's just moving really fast right now, and I barely have the energy to keep up. But I'm not dead, far from it actually. I haven't been this excited in a good long while, so maybe that's why I'm so tired lately. (￣▽￣ᵕ)ブ
